Jacob L. Sword, DMD, MDS
Dr. Sword was born and raised in Pikeville and graduated from Pikeville High School. He attended Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. After his time in Lexington, Dr. Sword was one of four residents selected to attend the University of Tennessee's three-year specialty training program in Memphis where he eventually served as chief resident of the orthodontics department. Dr. Sword and his wife, Kaitlin, have two beautiful daughters, Ellie and Sydney.

"Orthodontics has been my dream job since I worked for Dr. Hartsock during my college years. Through orthodontics I can show my community how much I care by developing lasting relationships with my patients and leading those individuals to a smile that they love. Getting the opportunity to be an orthodontist alongside my former orthodontist in the town that I have always called home is extremely exciting.”
